Rod: Sadly, progess on the car has been sorta minimal for the last few months, so I've just been lurking... still need to get a build thread going one of these days though!

Bob: The engine/trans sounds like a good combo for sure. Did you get them rebuilt by somebody local? I'm sure any competent old-school machinist could do 95% of the work, but when the time comes to tear into mine, I'd rather it be in the hands of somebody who knows flatheads and not just SBCs and SBFs. The Mustang steering sounds like a worthy upgrade for sure, I've got a Vega box for mine and I was planning a cross-steer setup but I think it would work for side steer with the pitman pointing up as well, which might be easier for exhaust clearance but harder to mount.
