I've been a mopar guy since birth, so of those....
440
426 wedge
426 hemi
Any other Hemi for cool factor.
383's are kinda neat cause they will rev like crazy.
and of course 340.
the 400 B engine has become poular because of the cheap stroker kits available to bring them over 500 inch.
Never liked 360's for anything other than hauling, and 318'sa re relaible and tough, but a little shy on power.
Other brands....
454 is a good all around motor. Good torque and breathing.
327 for sheer coolness
I don't like 350's cause they are like ..well you know....everyone has one. They do work well, so I never hold it against anyone for running one. They are easy to work on, and easy to get parts for.
Ford
460 will rip a house down, but I always liked the 390 FE family motor a little more.
Never liked 302's, but that's just me. Didn't like 351w, or 351M motor either.
351 cleveland is a killer though for sure.
There's no such thing as a bolt on.
