Finished up the lower portion (or the front) of the subfloor, it looks good I think and should help support the steering hoop I made. The whole sub floor is removable in sections and took way longer to make than I anticipated.

Got started on the passengers side floor skin as well, I made all of the patterns on poster board before I cut any steel, (it does work better than cardboard...thanks for the tip Rod!), this is a time consuming part of the build, its not going quickly at all. The floor is 18 gauge steel, I think I'll make the back portion at the kick up out of 22 gauge as its not supporting anything, plus I intend to put some beads on the roller in the floor for looks. The finished product I want to copper paint and patina. Some panels will be welded to others and go in to the car in sections.

I also ordered my gauges last week but they have yet to show up. I got a set of stewart warner's wing style gauges, they flow nice with the rest of the car. I want to build a 32 inspired dash panel to which I'll make an aluminum insert for the gauges, hopefully start that in a couple of weeks.

DSI's doing the driveshaft and should have it by week's end or next week, also had a buddy snag me a nice spoon Genie gas pedal from Hot Rods Inc. in Red Deer at the closing sale. I still think I could have got it cheaper on the internet

All I need to get now is the door hardware and glass, I don't see why I won't be driving in the summer.....
